Elks 157 Ritual Invitation August 1911

The officers of the Kenton Lodge of Elks have the reputation in this part of the state of being able to put on the Elk initiation work in as fine a manner as the best of them can do it. Recognizing this fact the Bowling Green lodge has invited the Kenton Elks to be their guests Friday August 18, and to initiate a class of candidates there that day. It is needless to say that the Kenton Elks have accepted the initiation with pleasure. The Wood County Elks will hold a summer festival in Bowling Green, August 14 to 19, inclusive, and it is a pretty safe bet that a large number of Kenton Elks will attend the festival some time during the week. The Bowling Green committee was here several weeks ago and sold 112 carnival tickets among the Kenton boys in a few hours one afternoon.
