To our Members,
Well its been a busy fall for all! Please excuse my lack of write-ups for our last couple months as I was planning a wedding and enjoying my honeymoon with my lovely wife, Rachel Kaufman. I’d like to thank all the volunteers and officers who have stepped up and helped during this time. We both greatly appreciate your thoughts and good wishes!
Congrats to all who participated in our 2nd Annual Bust a Cap in Cancer Gun raffle this past month. Thanks to your generous donations and participation we have been able to donate over $4500 to our 3 charities, including $2500 to Not By Choice, $1000 to Kenton Middle School PTO, and $1000 to Elks National Foundation. Special thanks to all our volunteers who worked that evening and helped in the preparations leading up to it. And a big pat on the back to Nate Davis and Mike Sturgeon for the tireless leadership of the project!
We have many events both upcoming and happening currently at our lodge that members should take note of. As of this writing our members weekly drawing is drawing close to $8000, everyone should be coming by the club during the week and getting signed up for a chance at a big payday there. Also a reminder to all 157 Club members that paid only the 1st half in March, your second half payment of $26 is due now. We also have a few numbers left for this years 157 Club so ask your bartender or an officers about how to join. This month will feature a event that we’ve haven’t had in a while, our Hineygate Party will be on Friday November 29th. It will feature BBQ from Vic and Ernie Klingelhofer and raffle for OSU themed items. A sign up board for the meal will be posted over the coming weeks so make sure to signed up and come up and join us as we prepare for the big game with Michigan! Speaking of TTUN, we will also be having our weekly Buckeye Bash for the big game on Saturday November 30th that will also feature Kegs and Eggs hosted by Kevin McPherson and Co. the morning of the big game!
Hope to see you all up at the club and around the lodge! Go Bucks!
To our Members,
