Message From E.R. Todd

Brother and sister Elks,

The new lodge year is upon us, and with it hopefully comes a renewed perspective. The truth is, sometimes, we can fall into a rut in Elkdom.
We associate various seasons, events, and even days of the week with the same activities in the lodge. I am encouraging you to break out of
any stale routine you may be in with our organization. Whether it’s an ENO, a mid-week lunch, or a weekend dinner, I would love for you to
take a trip up to the Club that you don’t normally make. We have lodge meetings on April 2 and April 16, and it would be wonderful to see
some new faces there, too!

Also be on the lookout for a new drawing at the bar–we will be adding a quarter daily drawing. This drawing will operate just like the spouse
and weekly member drawings–sign up at the bar, pay your entry fee, and we will draw a new name daily. More information will be available
at the bar. Make sure you are playing the drawings; we have given out $4,500 in prizes in the last month!

We had an excellent inaugural ball, and had some distinguished guests that joined us, including the soon to be installed state President,
Nevin Taylor. Nevin has ties to Kenton, and is being installed during a session at our state convention April 27-29. If you are interested and
available to attend, the convention is a wonderful experience to learn more about Elkdom! Please see Todd Cannode to register, or ask an
officer if you have any questions. I am excited to start this lodge year with you all! If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please
don’t hesitate to reach out! We can meet at the Club, or you can contact me via email at daquinot@kentoncityschools.org.

See you at the lodge!
Todd Daquino , Exalted Ruler
