PER David Faulkner Presented the Kenton 157 Elk Of The Year Award Saturday Evening
March 31, 2019
Saturday evening during the Inaugural Ball the Elk of the Year Award was Presented by PER Todd Daquino to PER David Faulkner.
The “Elk of the Year” Award is an award which has a great amount of meaning. It is a way a Lodge can recognize a Member who is always willing to help; a Member you can rely upon to get things done. David is a consistent volunteer on Tuesday nights during our Elks Night Out events as a bartender. He also is willing to help out when there are times when we had employees missing for various reasons, he was always present to fill in, no matter the night of the week. David regularly comes up on Sunday and cleans plus helps with decorations and improvements on the outside of the building.
During his year of being head of the Trustees, David oversaw numerous upgrades that are completed or are in progress, including a permanent outdoor sign, renovation of the upstairs Club room, and carpet outside the Lodge room.
David is also very active in Veterans outreach and works with the Blue Star Mothers plus he makes several visits to nursing homes, field trips, etc. David has also worked on menu committee, bar committee, and helped out with the All-American Lodge application.
Congratulations to PER David Faulkner the 2018-2019 Elk of the Year!
